Introduction

The Haematology and Immunology group (HEIM) is studying the biology and treatment of haematological diseases. It contains research groups clustered around different topics such as the Biology of Multiple Myeloma, Stem Cell Biology, MHC dysregulation in haematological malignancies and molecular analysis of antithrombine deficiency.

Biology of Multiple Myeloma

Following subjects are under study:

1. Biology of multiple myeloma and related diseases.
2. Molecular and phenotypic follow-up of B cell malignancies during therapy.

Stem cell biology

Following subjects are under study:

1. Stem cell processing for clinical transplantation.
2. Analysis of phenotype of haemopoietic stem cells in health and disease.
